It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of RUBEN F. LUJANO 08/03/1975 - 12/03/2025
Born on August 03, 1975 in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend.
Ruben's sudden departure has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, co-workers, and loved ones. He lived a vibrant life and still had so much ahead.
At an early age, he started working in shipping and receiving. He will be remembered as hard working, his love of House Music and Freestyle, fixing old cars (lowriders), and setting up speakers and other electronics. His radiant smile and outgoing personality will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his daughters: Leylani D. Padilla & Beyonce A. Padilla alongside his grandchildren Aubrey A. Padilla, Zaevion A. Padilla, Zariyah A. Padilla, Joel Padilla, Jaliyah Padilla, Anthony Padilla, Victoria Padilla (Mother of his children: Destiny Padilla and children: Abel A. Padilla, Danny O. Padilla & Destiny D. Padilla Jr.).
Son of Carlos F. Preciado (2012) and Maria Reyes Lujano (his dear dog Trap), brother to Lidia Preciado (Daughters: Lidia Preciado and Stephanye Covarrubias Preciado), Noemí M. Lujano (Noel Villarreal, and children, Crystal Del Raso, Robert Del Raso, Jr. (Wife: Jamila), Darla Del Raso, Carlos Del Raso (JuaMari, and daughters, Mia and Jaleya Del Raso), Michael P. Del Raso (Julissa Garcia and children, Michael Z. and Idalia Del Raso), Elmer A. Lujano (Children: Aaron and Naomi Lujano Sedano), Reyna Iniguez (Husband: David and son, Jaime D. Iniguez), Carlos Preciado Jr. (Wife: Patty Preciado and children, Dulce, Charlie III, Abraham and Angie Preciado).
A wake will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at G. Martinez Funeral Home, 5725 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
(Meet at Church) A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at La Villita Community Church, 2300 S. Millard Ave., Chicago, IL, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at Concordia Cemetery, 7900 Madison St., Forest Park, IL.
