Leonel Roberto Ruiz

Leonel Roberto Ruiz , known as Leo and Almighty Zuna, 26, was a cherished son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend whose greatest passions were his family, his friends, and wrestling. His kind heart, warm spirit, and genuine compassion touched the lives of everyone who knew him, and his memory will be treasured forever.

Leo will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Rosa Hayajneh and Angel Rivera; his grandparents, Roberto and Rosa; his siblings, Isabela, Ben, and Daniel; his aunts, Mari, Kary, and Wendy; his uncles, Lupe, Robert, and Jose; and his cousins, Milynda, MaryJane, Max, Mireya, Amelia, Angel, Irene, and Louie.

Though his time with us was far too short, Leo’s love, laughter, and the joy he brought to others will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Visitation Service: Thursday, August 13th, 2026 from 8:00-11:00 am. at G. Martinez Funeral Home, 5725 S. Pulaski Rd. Chicago, IL

Interment: Thursday, August 13th, 2026 at St. Casimir Cemetery, 4401 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655.
