Belinda D'Angelo

Belinda D'Angelo, age 70, peacefully made her transition on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, Belinda was born May 19, 1953, in Chicago IL. Belinda was the oldest of eight children born to Maria and Raymundo Velasquez, who both preceded her in death. Belinda started her career at Social Security Administration immediately after she graduated from High School in 1971. She had a successful career with over 30 years of service. Belinda was often recognized for her work skills receiving many awards. During her career she was promoted several times from a key punch operator to manager. Belinda often bragged about the natural delivery of her 10 lb. daughter Christine Aparicio-Pineda. After Belinda raised her daughter, she pursued her post-secondary education at night while working full-time. She received her Master's in Business Administration. Belinda took her role as the Matriarch seriously. In 2016 she became the guardian of her 3-year-old Great Grandson Lalo. Belinda loved to travel enjoyed bowling, swimming, dancing, music, gardening and cooking her favorite foods on Sunday's tamales, carnitas, nopales and conchas. Belinda started her second chapter on November 17, 1998, when she married Joseph D'Angelo who she met while dancing. Belinda is survived by her husband Joseph D'Angelo, her Daughter Christine Pineda, Stepchildren Joey and Vanessa, her Grandchildren Julie, Alexis, and Gaby, Great Grandchildren, Eduardo (Lalo), Ana Marie, Raul Jr., Natalie, Ethan, Elliot, Elias, brother, Orlando, sisters, Delia, Adela, Lisa, Yolanda, Sylvia, many nieces and nephews, and her best friends Lupe, Cheryl, Dianne, Lola and Maude.
