Raul Chavez

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Raul Chavez on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at 86 years old. Survived by his wife Liduvina Velasquez-Ceja; sons Gorge Chavez and Raul Chavez Jr.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Raul was a beloved husband and best friend of the late Bertha Vilches. Loving father to their late children Joe Chavez, Jesse Chavez, and Robert Chavez. He will fondly be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins extended family, and many good friends. He was a quiet and kind gentleman who held the highest of standards in life. A man who always took care of those around him, a loving parent, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an exceptional man who set an excellent example for us to follow. Pulaski Rd, Chicago IL. 60629 on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery
